Software Development (Professional Certificate)
About
Enhance your skills as a software developer for the workplace with a professional certificate in Software Development. Whether you have experience with Java or are a beginner, there is a track to help advance a career in tech.
The professional certificate in Software Development is awarded after completing a track of two Java programming courses, in addition to—depending on current skill level—at least one of the five elective courses. Most often these programs can be successfully completed in one year or less.
Core coursework covers a broad spectrum of object-oriented programming concepts and application programming interfaces. The intermediate track includes a focus on database connectivity (JDBC) integration with web application programming using an enterprise-level application framework. Coursework is complemented with hands-on exercises.
